Port Angeles, Washington-based boatbuilder Brix Marine has completed construction of the first unit in a new series of marine surveying vessels.
The all-aluminium Lugudi Barana measures 30 by 10 feet (9.1 by three metres) and is powered by two 200hp (149kW) outboard engines. The hull skins, transverse frames, and longitudinal T-bars ensure reliability even in challenging conditions.
The cabin has space for survey workstations and an electronics suite from Garmin.
