Fednav welcomes new handysize ship
Canadian bulk shipowner Fednav has received delivery of a new handysize carrier, the ‘Federal Caribou’.
The vessel is one of seven new vessels equipped with a ballast water treatment system – a first for the Great Lakes, according to Fednav.
The ‘Caribou’ is part of a series of 16 Handysize vessels, representing an investment of more than US$400 million, designed specifically for the Great Lakes.
