Several former top managers of the Yantar shipyard have been sentenced to jail. The Russian court ruled that management abuse at Yantar had led to a four million rouble (US$122,000) loss to the state-run enterprise.

The judge sentenced former General Director Nikolay Volov to six years, Deputy Chief Engineer Vasily Suhachev to seven years, and Budgeting Economist Lydia Prihodko to 5.5 years imprisonment.
